How should I become a prosecute attorney?

I really enjoy watching Law & Order, CSI, ect. For a few years now I have wanted to be a lawyer, then i broke it down to a prosecutor. I need help in finding a way to become what i want to be. Break it down from college(what degree) to a law school.
