Should I tell my parents I'm getting this tattoo?

They are strict, devout Christians and my dad is wayyyyy anti-tattoo, piercing and all that jazz. It isn't in a place where he will see unless he spots me at the beach, which is highly unlikely, but because they are my parents, do I have to tell me? I'm an adult...well into my 20's and married, but Im just wondering what the best thing to do here is. I only ask because if they do somehow find out one day, won't I look worse having kept it from them?
