Why don't guys ask me out? :(?

Hey guys so I'm really kinda bummed. Some of my other friends get asked out or whatever a lot and I don't know if there is something wrong with me or what, but I've never been asked out. Only like a few (2 times by a guy friend I think it was a joke; and once by a MUCH older guy he was around 30). I'm 16, btw. In public, I notice that guys check me out a lot and sometimes at bus stops ping cars/trucks will honk at me. I'm not fat or anything, and my friends sometimes compare them to me harshly (them being the lesser, unfortunately) and I dress well and the kind of guy I want is someone who is mature and not into the drug scene. Someone nice, with similar interests but maybe I give off intimidating sides (I used to be an intense party girl, did lots of drugs and stuff). Any advice? Thanks
