Yes, it does look a much more balanced XI than the one chosen by the ICC which was too heavily biased in favour of modern players. I might still pick Gilchrist ahead of Knott and I would like to find a way to get Wasim Akram in (maybe at Barnes' expense). It is always a very subjective task choosing any sort of all-time World XI of course.
