How do you keep your dog costs down?

you have to kinda of try by not feeding your too much in one meal and dont give them biscuits like there dog food and dont buy the the expensive stuff you have to shop around and see what good prices there are i would recommend puppy chow when there a pup and dog chow if they are older. i use that and it is cheap and dont buy big nasty bones buy dentist recommended and dont go all ou on toys especially since it is christmas i love my black lab to but times are hard now and we have to deaol with it so you kind of have to deal with the high price.
